I have been a member of the society since 1989 and don't regret doing so.I have to agree that it's been educational and inspiring to be part of a society that is at the forefront in pushing forward planetary exploration as it has over the years. I am very proud of my planetary report collection since the start of the society way back in 1981. I am delighted to have finally made it to the planetary society home in pasadena last summer after so many years of being a member . That probably really proves my true appreciation of the society which enabled me and other members around the world to take part in space exploration in our own way . In return we have our names on Mars for future explorers to see! What best way to be part of space exploration.
An asteroid or comet headed for Earth is the only large-scale natural disaster we can prevent. Working together to fund our Shoemaker NEO Grants for astronomers, we can help save the world.
