Sunrise on Mars

This prompt got me thinking about a picture I first saw a couple of years ago. During its 489th sol on Mars, MER Spirit lifted its cameras to the sky and snapped this stunning photograph of the sun going down on the Martian horizon. Looking at it, I realized that Mars and the other bodies in the Solar System are worlds just like Earth- they have weather, seasons, night skies, sandy deserts and polar ice caps, and, of course, sunsets.
