A small step

A small step

For me was a turning moment I will never forget. I was eleven years old and I remember exactly where I was, I remember exactly with whom I was. All my closest relatives, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandpa and grandma, the sense of awe and expectation. I remember clearly those black and white, quite difficult to figure out images on my family TV set. And over all, I remember it was at that time my passion for space started.

I was completely convinced that night, that humans would walk on the moon as a common thing in my lifetime. I am sure many did that night. Not likely for me, but closer and closer every year, in good part because of the Planetary Society. God speed guys!
