Watch Bill Nye and Special Guests in The Lure of Europa

Video from The Planetary Society's recent congressional event

You may be like most people and not live in Washington, D.C. So you probably didn't see our event in the Rayburn House Office Building last month exploring The Lure of Europa. Fret not, for we've posted the video of the entire event below. We've even given it a flexible license for you to use in other ways (with attribution!).

The Lure of Europa featuring Bill Nye and Special Guests

The entire video of The Planetary Society's special Washington, D.C. event, The Lure of Europa. Featuring Bill Nye, NASA Chief Scientist Ellen Stofan, JPL Europa Scientist Robert Pappalardo, House Science Chairman Lamar Smith, Rep. John Culberson, and Rep. Adam Schiff.

We had a stellar lineup: NASA's Chief Scientist Ellen Stofan, JPL's Europa Study Scientist Robert Pappalardo, and three (count 'em!) three sitting congressmen: House Science Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX), Rep. John Culberson (R-TX) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

And, of course, our CEO Bill Nye closed the event on a powerful note.

We saw a huge outpouring of excitement and support for Europa a destination for NASA exploration. Let's hope this mission becomes a reality and we finally can try to answer some of the compelling questions about habitability and life on this watery moon.

Special thanks to Planetary Society volunteer Tushar Dayal for recording and editing the above video.
