The 2014 Legislative Blitz is at Capacity!

Topics: Space Policy, Future Mission Concepts

A few weeks ago I made a call out to our members to join the Space Exploration Alliance's "blitz" of Congress. The response was so great that the SEA has reached physical capacity for training and organizing the event, so we had to close registrations a full two weeks early.

What a great problem!

So, sorry to everyone who wanted to go; next year we're going to plan for more people and a bigger event. But I want to thank everyone who has committed to take several days off from work to speak about their passion for space exploration. It's going to make a big difference, and it is a crucial part of our long-term effort to change the political scene surrounding NASA.

I'll post our talking points as soon as they are approved and blogging updates from the blitz starting February 23rd. I encourage everyone who can't sign up to call their legislators February 24th - 25th and tell them about your support for space exploration. We're building something exciting here, and we need everyone's support.

I was ready to add my name to petitions to Congress regarding funding for NASA and exploration, but I couldn't find the site/petition... I'm a 2 year novice with computers, so I assume I'm doing something wrong, I have no idea what----I clicked on the site to send support.
