Yesterday I posted the transcript of a video greeting that Arthur C. Clarke sent to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory on the occasion of the Iapetus flyby. (The transcript was sent by Clarke himself to Lou Friedman with the offer to us to do with it as we pleased.) I'm happy to say that today I've got the actual video greeting itself for you to download. It's a little over 5 minutes long and features Sir Arthur reading into the camera with his books on a bookcase behind him. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did.

Thanks very much to Dave Seal for having the idea of making this request in the first place, and for making the video available to me.

And thanks to all the team members at JPL and dozens of institutions for the wonderful images from the Iapetus flyby!

I will certainly be posting more images tomorrow. Stay tuned...
