Comet McNaught blazes in southern hemisphere skies

Comet McNaught is retreating from the Sun's glare, and has consequently become visible in the twilight skies of the southern hemisphere. There is a terrific gallery of images of the comet up at spaceweather.com. Here's one of my recent favorites, taken yesterday by Kevin Crause of Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa.
