I got an update from Mars Global Surveyor Project Manager Tom Thorpe on the status of their wayward spacecraft this afternoon, and just posted a news story on it. They still haven't heard from it -- that's since November 5 -- but they have some sneaky plans involving Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Odyssey, Spirit, and Opportunity to try and recover it.
